Melodic Revolution Records is proud to announce the signing of Murky Red

Murky Red is an exciting new Belgian based band formed in the autumn of 2010. The band delivers a diverse blend of rock and blues, as well as atmospheric ballads. Influenced by legends such as, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Steppenwolf, The Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Band of Horses, and artists such as Gary Moore, Mark Knopfler, Snowy White.

Murky Red is hard at work in the studio finishing up its debut release “Time Doesn't Matter” due out later this year. Songs in the works are, Last Chance Hotel, I Give You My Soul, Willow Tree, Where Are You Today, Murky Red, On New Year’s Day, Spider, GaladriĆ«l, Cold Outside, Angels Can Wait and Kill A Killer.

Melodic Revolution Records is proud to announce the signing of Oceans of Time


"Oceans of Time" is a Progressive Metal Band from Norway. "Oceans of Time" was formed in 2005 by Guitarist Lazz Jensen. According to Lazz the band played a lot of gigs between 2005 -2008 which helped them establish themselves as one of the premier local bands this also helped them nurture and grow a faithful fan base between. "Oceans of Time" not only built a reputation for their solid sound and showmanship, but also opened doors for them to share the stage with bands like Glenn Huges, Masterplan, Satyricon, and many others.


In 2009 "Oceans of Time" took a break from touring to concentrate on writing and recording their debut album which would later become the album known as "FACES". Better than two years in the making the fruits of their labor, has paid off. The debut album "FACES" was finished in late 2011 and boast 10 originals new tracks and clocks in at 55 minutes.

"FACES" was recorded at Oceans Studios and was mixed and mastered by Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse Studios in Denmark. (Tommy also has worked with the bands Halloween, Jorn, etc.) Faces will be released February 7th 2012.

Melodic Revolution Records is pleased to announce the signing of the symphonic rock band Aethellis for their new release Northumbria.

Northumbria is the bands 2nd release and follows up to the critically acclaimed self titled release Aethellis.

Aethellis has the soaring majesty of classic symphonic rock and incorporates a contemporary rhythmic feel along with asymmetrical meters and polytriad harmonies and catchy hooks! The first Aethellis album was spearheaded and recorded in 2002/2003 by classically trained keyboardist, vocalist and guitarist Ellsworth Hall and has many influences including rock, classical, synth pop, funk, jazz.

Northumbria is now available through CDBaby and will be available as a digital release through MRR on December 20th with a physical release for distribution and sales worldwide due in early 2012.
